The
trip, as all your
trips, was great-the perfect mixture of baseball & touring. Daniel
was the best a guide could be. Of course, I am already thinking
about next Feb. in the Caribbean somewhere.

Baseball Adventures is a great way to see
the world. The customized schedule is a perfect balance between playing
baseball in exotic venues, touring the cities within the
country mingling with the locals. Every trip I've met
great people and have made lasting friendships. Most
all have the same passion for playing the game of baseball.
These friendships I hope to carry for years to come. My
experiences with Baseball Adventures have been priceless. A great
getaway for a week or two playing ball and hanging with the guys.
Before you know it you will be back at home wishing you were still
there and counting the days till the next Baseball Adventure.
Best Regards, Mark Foerster, Michigan |
| That
was a great trip. Good guys,
baseball, tours, cheap food and great beer. Got
to go………..I need to walk my Chihuahua. DocSid, Sid Rosenblatt, Scottsdale, AZ |

will always be unforgettable.. Neal Fujiwara, Hawaii |
| Again,
thank you very much for all the extra work you put into the
trip! Our memories will be with us forever and we look forward to
going again on one of your adventures! The Baldo Family, Newport Beach, CA |
| Thank
you for the wonderful trip. You and John Baessler did an
excellent job. I hope to play baseball again, maybe some day I
can go on another trip. Mike McClellan, Texas |
| Thanks
for everything,
it was a great trip. Terry Lee, San Francisco |
| What
a
fun trip. Thanks again. AAARRRRRR, it's drivin' me
nuts!! Gene Sinclair, Robinson, Illinois |
| We had a great time
in Sorrento with Dennis , Corey, Sherry & Cobe, and Donna &
Mark for the few days they were there. If you make it back to
Italy, the Isle of Capri is beautiful and the Blue grotto is
amazing. We also rented a scooter and drove the coast to Positano
which was a lot of fun. Nice meeting everyone and as Carlos would
say
"Heep Heep Horay"!!! Ciao, John & Cindy Angelesco, San Jose, CA |
|
Dennis,
you
did a great job, as
I know I only had 1 real night out for drinking during the entire.
tour.. OH,, the Joust counts too.
Its
impossible to please
everyone on a trip like this but Dennis, you understand the hard work
necessary and pulled it off.
Steve Fagin, Chicago Illinois |
| I
would
like to mention, as all of you already have, that it was an amazing
trip -- my first further than 1000 miles from home -- that I know I
will remember for a lifetime. I can never think of pizza the same
again... henceforth tempted to add blue cheese and walnuts! And
it
will surely take some time for nutella-laden crèpes and
multi flavored
gelati to fade from my thoughts and dreams. But most of all
I would
like to thank all of you for making it such an enjoyable trek through
italy. Despite the age difference, I had a pleasant time getting
to
meet and chat with all of you. It would be a delight to cross
paths
again in the future! Ciao Corey Brown, Anaheim, CA |
| I
just wanted to say that
Marianna and I had a great time touring with all of you. I can only imagine the number of hours you
put
into the planning of the trip, and it certainly worked out well. Thanks again Dennis. Allan & Marianna Green, Philo, CA |
| Dennis,
thank you so much for
all you did to make this such a fabulous
trip for all of us. The tours and experiences of Milan,
Verona,
Florence, Venice, Rome, Arezzo and Lake Como will always be
cherished
as major Bucket List additions. Never could I have imagined the
magnitude of the coliseum, or the Sistine Chapel, or the Duomo or
cathedrals without actually being there. The Joust was
phenomenal, the
boat taxis, the cobblestone streets, narrow staircases leading up to
shops, bridges were all such wonderful sites to see and be a part
of.
The food, yummmmm, But the new friends, Priceless. I really
enjoyed
all of you, your energies, humor, and adventurous spirits were a
perfect mix for a wonderful vacation. Thank you all for such
wonderful
memories, Lets stay in touch, and possibly travel again together in the
future. Love ya all, Julie de Trinidad, Middletown, CA |
| This
was one of the most enjoyable trips I have ever taken, both from
the incredible
sites, and group of people who made it that more fun! It's hard
to believe you can throw 19 people together, some meeting for the first
time and get along as well as I think we did. I know I enjoyed
every ones company! Julie and I enjoyed the remaining few days at
Lake Como
– a perfect spot to unwind a little after the jam packed itinerary
Dennis created for us. It all went by so fast! Tony Shimetz, Middletown, CA |
| I too want
to let everyone know
what a GREAT time Mark and I had. It
was a very special trip. Meeting all of you and spending time
together
was wonderful. I will have to say it has not been easy quitting
Gelato
cold turkey! I had heard stories about gelato but didn't believe
I
could get hooked. I didn't have any in Como, tried my first one
in
Milan. By the time I got to Rome I was having double gelato days,
but
the worst was in Sorrento. 3 gelatos a day!!! And the
schiacciata
(pizza bread)! I really believe I could live on pizza bread and
gelato. Seriously, the memories of this trip will last
forever. Our best to all of you, Donna & Mark Fess, Santa Rosa, CA |
| Dennis-
I wanted to
personally thank you for all of the BLOOD, SWEAT and TEARS that you put
into the Italian Baseball Tour just completed. What a fantastic
time!!!!!!!! I want to thank you also for the great PATIENCE that you
displayed in dealing with some of the "straying cats", lost items, late
show-er-uppers, and inevitable annoyances that occur on a venture like
this involving 20 independent human beings, tour guides and bus drivers
(to say nothing of unexpected injuries). It was an experience I'll
never ever forget and I'm having almost as much fun re-living it as
actually participating in it. I really enjoyed talking with Corey
and observing
him taking everything in like a sponge....you could never give him a
greater gift than bringing him along on this trip. I also enjoyed
talking baseball with you....and you didn't even hang yourself during
some of the long winded stories!! My best wishes to you for many
more
years of two of your obvious passions- touring and baseball. Regards, Jasonini & The Entire Italian Tour Gang- What a thrill and a privilege to have completed the "Big Italian Adventure" with all of you!!!!! It truly was a once in a lifetime experience and I feel that I have been very fortunate to have met and bonded with so many great people. And as an added bonus from this trip, I am looking into a second career as a "David Model". I am hopeful of writing a trip summary from my perspective (once I recover- approx 1-2 months) and will copy everyone on it. Also am looking forward to seeing the many great photos that were taken. Caio!!!!! Ange " Micione" Ford, Akron, OH See: Angelo's Big Adventure |
| Paul and I also want
to let all of you know what a
fabulous time we had
in Italy, and most of all sharing our time with such a wonderful group
of people. It truly couldn't have been a better time
(notwithstanding Alberto our Rome tour guide who added some laughs to
our trip as well!) The memories of our trip are very
very special,
and as we share our trip with our family and friends, we find that
there are so many fun, interesting, and special stories to share that
they are endless and after 5 days back, we still have shared but a
portion of all there is to tell. We feel very
blessed to have met
all of you and to have shared the experiences we did with the Italian
people as well as each other. Our best to all of you
and we look
forward to keeping in touch. Dennis, you did a terrific job at planning this overseas adventure--we are certain that this was a tremendous undertaking and you took good care of your team! Thank you for looking after our comfort, all the connections from city to city, and planning it in such a way that the boys could play ball and the ladies had some time to shop! We look forward to see what is planned in the future. We wish Lorenzo and Anthony a very speedy recovery with only great memories left as proof of the "double header". Yours in friendship, Paul Perantinides and Elisa Pizzino, Akron, OH |

I had a great time and am
looking forward to the next

that and watching the
videos just makes me wanna go back asap. I cant wait for the next trip.

Sherry
and I would also like to express our appreciation to everyone for
making these past two weeks such a wonderful and unforgettable
experience. We certainly feel like we have a new set of friends
with
whom we will forever share Italian memories. Thank you, Dennis, for
pulling this off and bringing us all together on our Italian baseball
adventure.

| I had a great time in Cuba and
would do
it again without question. Michael Bessett, Tampa, FL |
| Great job on the trip.
That was a really great trip and I enjoyed spending time with old
friends and as well as making new ones. Hope to see you all again
next year in Cuba. Blair Bessett, Seattle, WA |
| I was late to work today.
I
sat out in front of my house for an hour waiting for Alberto and Jorge
to pick me up. It was a pleasure meeting everyone and hope to
make another trip in the near future. I wanted to
thank you for putting together a great trip to Cuba. It was a
dream come true to visit Cuba and play ball against some of the most
passionate players in the world. Everyday was an adventure and I
thank you for the opportunity. Aron Levinson, Los Angeles, CA |
| Many thanks to you all for
making the trip very special for me. It was great to see those
that I had met before and to make new friends as well. Gene Sinclair, Robinson, IL |
| Cuba was a great trip. I
really enjoyed getting to know all of you better. It's great to
be with a group of guys who like to play baseball. Doc Sid Rosenblatt, Scottsdale, AZ |
| A personal thanks for a great
trip. I appreciate all of the time and work you put into making
these things come to life. Del Phillips, Frackton, PA |
| Great trip! I should have
defected to Cuba..lolol Damian Perkins, Highland, IN |
| Just wanted to drop a line and
say thanks for another great trip. It was nice to have some new
faces on the trip, and as always there was a lot of laughs. Mac,
thanks for all the hard work. Looking forward to next year. Mark Foerster, Detroit, MI |
| Amazing group
of guys and
trip. I can not remember enjoying something
this much. Thanks for putting up with the old guy.Love you
all. Life just does not seem the same. Arlo Sorensen, Palos Verdes, CA |
| Never
had so much fun translating in my life. Hope
all made it back safely and I
am gratefull for being able to travel with such a great group of guys. Dr. Gabriel Carabello, Glendale, CA |
| Still buzzing
from the trip; who isn't? Echoing everyone else,
meeting each of you and spending over a week together was one of the
best
trips-experiences of my life. Enrichment in many ways. Hope
to see you guys on the field down the road and hopefully at another
Denni
McCroki trip. The sign of a great trip is that you just can't
stop thinking about it and getting it out of your head. I got the DVDs and photos yesterday, and could not stop until I went through them all. I found myself laughing and smiling throughout. You guys made the trip one of the best in my lifetime. I'm sure I'm not alone in that feeling. On top of that, I'm proud to say, in the words of Frank, that I've got 14 new brothers. You guys are the best. Paul Raymond, Newport Beach, CA |
| I've
had the great pleasure of re-telling the many stories from our trip
several times already this morning for my work associates.
Frank said it best as we were touching down in Miami yesterday.
He said it was tough seeing the trip coming to an end, because he felt
like he had 14 new brothers. Can't really top that. Jim Isbell, Seattle, WA |
Let me first of all say thanks Mac for including me on this trip! The whole trip was more than I ever expected and of course many things happened that I never expected. You said in your last mail to us that we would "return home a different person." True. I enjoyed getting to know you better and I think our guys were a good mix of different personalities. This trip was SO extraordinary I can't stop thinking about it. I'd like to do it again. Thanks to the veterans for altering reality. El Doctor, Gene, Sid, Mac, Mark ... you guys are insane. Anyway, to sum it all up ...THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! |
| As
you warned us, things are just not the same anymore. Judging from the
emails from the other guys, i'm not the only one who can't get Cuba out
of my mind, and long to return. I've travelled to 40 countries, but
Cuba is unique. Thanks for making it possible for us to have the
experience. Michael Kagan, Seattle, WA |
| It
was a super time with a great bunch of guys. As our guide Jorge
said, we
"stepped off the World" for a week and things happened that you can't
make up. Steve Wolf, Boston, MA |
| Was
a real learning experience to say the least!! Thanks for not
letting me get married.............hahahaha. Want to thank Dennis
for
this opportunity and thank all you guys for a great time especially
Steve! Russ Ward, Windham, NH |
| Super
Groovy trip. Thanks
to everyone for making it a great time. It was a great
group of guys and it couldn't have gone better. John Delaney, Seattle, WA |
| Thanks
for an awesome experience! I also made it home to my own private
mango stash...at no charge! Looking forward to beating future
girls
tryout teams with y'all in the future! Louis Amoroso, Chicago, IL |
| Thank
you for great experience you gave me! That was best trip! I
Had Great time, Pie and Mango! Hiro Kida, Bellvue, WA |
| Thanks
again for everything. Trip was even better this year... better games,
weather, and guys. Steve Wolf, Boston, MA |
| Another
wild and crazy adventure in Cuba. This year's trip was exceptional.
Loved the charm of the cities on the eastern end, the crowds, the
competition, and of course our many new friends. The sound of a cell
phone ring tone that sounds like the flight of the bumble bee keeps
going through me head. Hope to enjoy Republica de Cuba redux in the
future. Tim Urban, Wauwatosa, WI |
| Wow…
What a great trip. I’ve traveled to a lot
of places and done a lot of things over the years, including Cuba last
year, but I must stay that this trip with you all rated at the top of
the list…. Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your
group and your humanitarian effort with the Cuban people. Dennis, thanks again for getting this trip coordinated and bringing us together… I would be honored to be invited back again… Mike Labanowski, Glenville, NY |
|
After
having time (24hrs telling stories) to reflect on this experience, I
have to say we are very lucky guys to be able to do what we are able to
do. When you see how the people of Cuba live their lives, we did
a lot
for ourselves being there, and a lot to help in what little we could to
put smiles on the people’s faces. This is the experience I will
never
forget. |
| As I
sit at my kids little league field flipping pancakes at our
opening day I can't seem to stop thinking about our excursion to this
incredible country. Everything about our week in Cuba was
absolutely fantastic. Dennis,
you did an incredible job putting this trip together. Being able to
just hop on the bus and not have to worry about anything the whole week
was a fantastic break from our everyday lives. I can't remember the
last time I have been able to be disconnected from my
blackberry. Spending
quality time with new and old friends doing things that we love to do
is a dream. It was a privilege to be part of this special group of guys
and I look forward to a repeat next year if invited. Thanks again
to everyone for allowing me to be part of this special team. Steve Moritz, Los Angeles, CA |
| I'll
simply echo what everyone
has been saying: it was a fabulous
trip, with a great group of teammates, occasional well played baseball,
and enough stories-laughs-and cucumber salads to last a lifetime...or,
until next year. Upon reflection, the Santa Clara game...and that whole
day...having a chance to play Cuban men, children (at the Che memorial)
and women (at Cienfuegos field) was very special. And the final game
really felt like we were a team and had come together and won over the
opposition who was not easing up. I know we
left mucho moolah in Cuba, but we also left even more good will amongst
the Cuban people. Dennis, thanks again for all the pre work and
behind the
scenes effort you put into these trips. Lou Patler, Marin, CA |
| What
else can I add to what
has already been
said. I feel
very privileged to have traveled with such a great group of guys. My wife warned me last year
after my first trip that to go back and do it again, that the experience would never
be as great. Well, this is the first time she's been wrong. Dennis, Well, you
did it again! What a spectacular trip! Thanks so much for
all your work, organization and expertise. McCroskey Tours ... always unique
... always unforgettable! Joe Baldo, Yorba Linda, CA |
| Wanted
to express my thanks for a great trip. It's clear a lot of work went
into setting up such an adventure and we really appreciate your hard
work. Certainly couldn't have pulled it off without you. Thanks for a
great experience. Best of luck on your return trip in February! Paul Stanton, Milton Breakers, MA |
Thanks so much for an incredible, once-in-a-lifetime trip that I will never forget. Everything was planned, organized and executed perfectly. It's a trip I will never forget and none of it would be possible without your thoughtful planning. The games were thrilling, particularly those we won, the meals delicious and much better than what I had during my last trip, and the touring/sightseeing was spot-on. One word sums up the whole trip. . .unforgettable. Thanks for all the hard work. |
| Thanks
for all of your hard work and efforts...Cuba truly is an amazing place
& we all had a fantastic time. Tough to get back to reality... Brian Bennet, Milton Breakers, MA |
| I
don't think I've properly thanked you for the wonderful time I had in
Cuba. Consider yourself profusely thanked. You did a great
job planning the trip and insuring that even the smallest details were
perfectly taken care of.

| Thanks
Dennis. Great trip and the coordination, planning, etc was terrific. I
look forward to doing it again. Jason Harrington, Seattle, WA |
| Thanks again for
everything! You did a fantastic job and if I didn’t tell you before I
am now. Hope to do another trip with you again in the future. Mike Harris, PA |
| I share all other comments. You guys were
all a pleasure to travel with. In addition, it was my honor to be on
the same baseball field as you all. Russ Prior, Seattle, WA |
| Thanks
for the good job in
arranging all games, amenities, hotels and touring. I really
enjoyed the baseball, team-mates (best of the trip) and Cuba in
general. See you all in Cuba next year.
Roger
Lara, Miami, FL
|
| Dennis,
Had a great time! Thanks for putting together a fantastic trip! Let me
know when you are going again. I totally agree with Roger.
Fantastic trip, great getting to know everyone, and big thanks to
Dennis for putting it all together. Its hard to come back to reality!!! Edwin Maricial, GA |
| I
wanted to thank all of you for making this trip to Cuba a very special
event. Who would have thought 18 guys from around the
country could meet up, mesh so well and play such good baseball
together. I look forward to seeing all of you in the future,
perhaps on another Cuba trip. Jeff Droker, Seattle, WA |
| What
a great week of
playing baseball with
friends, meeting new friends and the people of Cuba, I now know what
“You can’t
make this s__t up” is all about. Thanks again
and I hope to see everybody
soon. Dave Liptz, Irvine, CA |
| Dennis,
Once again you put on a great trip to
Cuba. I know how hard the logistics can be, and dealing with all
of the personalities and the dynamics of the trip. Mike Labanowski, NY |
| Dennis,
Thanks again for another great trip, I look forward to doing it again.
To all the guys, I truly cherish the time we are together and look
forward to seeing all of you soon. Steve Moritz, LA, CA |
| Thanks
again everyone. I had an awesome time with you guys and truly
appreciate the fact that I had the opportunity to play ball with you
and forge great new friendships. J.Dub, thanks for the imagery of the
"Jelly Doughnut" and man are those Mango's fine!!!!! Bucket
list......Check! Thank you, Cosimo Briguglio, San Pedro, CA |
| Dennis,
As always, thank you for the hard work in getting us to Cuba.
Once we're there, it's really just a matter of getting on the bus as
I'm sure most guys figured out. Jorge worked the phones, Mike on
electrical and Pablo Ramon educated us on the cigar seconds that Jorge
seems to have no problem getting his hands on. :) Take care
and count me in for Cuba 2013. Aron Levinson, Torrance, CA |
| Dennis,
Great trip for me!!! Thanks to all for making this so fun for me. Chad Ashley, IN |
| Thanks
Dennis for all you put into these trips. Everyone had fun and wants to
do it again. Geoffrey Lands, LA, CA |
| Great
trip, great friends, thanks Dennis for your efforts!
Hope to see you all again in the future. Russell Ward, Walthan, NH |
| Thanks
for a great trip and great guys! Steve Zolotas, Ventura, CA |
|
Thanks for organizing a
great trip, Mac. And thanks to all of my great teammates for the great
fun we had together. Always a pleasure to meet new friends along
the way.
