Central & North Cuba Baseball Tour
Cienfuegos , Santa Clara and Havana
February 25-March 4  2005

This tour flies directly from Miami to Havana where you will be driven to Cienfuegos, The Pearl of Cuba. Each day will be a full days activities of baseball, sight seeing and entertainment.  We'll spend 3 nights at the newly renovated Jagua Hotel on the Malecon.  This is a very friendly town on a beautiful bay, favorite city of Benny Moore and a vacation destination point for foreigners and Cubans a like.   We'll spend another 4 days in Havana enjoying this historic city.  Look for great baseball, friendly people, haunting music and great entertainment.  This is our chance to experience Cuba before it opens up and becomes commercialized with McDonalds, Starbucks and neon.

Palacio del Valle

The Malecon In Cienfuegos

Cienfuegos Nautical Club
The baseball games are all against Cuban Veterans, most of which are former professional players.  You'll find them to be excellent players and wonderful hosts.  The Cuban people are very warm hearted, congenial hosts and easy to make friends with.  Some of our games will be in professional stadiums.  This trip is open to any adult baseball players of any age.  A limited number of support personnel may possibly attend.
Estadio Sandino in Santa Clara

Parque Jose Marti-Cienfuegos
We'll play 3 games in Cienfuegos against local veteran players at Estadio 5th de Septiembre and Abreus.  The last day we'll travel to Santa Clara for a game at Estadio Sandino and a visit to the Che Memorial.   One evening we'll have dinner cruise on the bay and another at the Palacio de Valle
From Santa Clara, we'll travel to the big city of Havana where we'll spend 4 nights at our home base, the Hotel El Comodoro, in the fashionable Miramar district of Havana.  We'll have beautiful pools and beaches just a few feet away from our bungalow suites.
